LAMINATED SPRUCE
Laminated wood is a structural material produced by gluing fir wood boards which have been, in turn, already classified for structural use. It is therefore a composite material, essentially made of natural wood, of which it maintains the qualities, but it is also a new product, made on an industrial scale.
Our company is able to offer customers laminated wood of various categories of resistance, from the GL24H to the GL32H, and of various shapes, from curves to boomerangs up to waves, always of the higher quality.
SPRUCE RAILS
Spruce trees have a trunk that can reach about 70 cm in diameter and therefore a good 2 meters in circumference. A single tree supplies a large amount of wood, which is why the material is cheap. Fir is used in many other fields, such as carpentry industries, and for many types of building construction. In addition, it is used to produce solid poles of different sections and planks for poles.
SPRUCE BOARDS AND MATCHBOARDS
Spruce wood is light and tender. The speed with which it adapts its humidity to the one of the external environment is, however, quite low, and this gives it a good stability. The shrinkage values are generally medium, and for this reason it is versatile. In construction it is used for scaffolding and formwork service structures.
